I'm hoping it morphs into a thread about how anyone who uses a credit card is an idiot.

I've never understood what "ort888" is supposed to mean, and ort888's signature makes my eyes all googly, but I like his location, so I think it all evens out. You guys should lay off of ort888, you ruthless vultures, because I said so.

Well, I was raised on an isolated socialist farming collective in rural Canada and I had never heard a single swear word. One day, I was listening to a particularly saucy Phil Collins album and I heard a few words I had never heard before. This changed my life.

ort888 is a clever combination of those fateful words.

As for my sig, I'm actually legally blind... and have a horrible hatred for those with site. So this is my revenge.

I'm sure the text-to-speech software you use to type messages--seeing how you are legally blind and all--is responsible for this typo.
One should never stop striving for clarity of thought and precision of expression.
I would prefer my humanity sullied with the tarnish of science rather than the gloss of religion.

I love my American Express Plum Card. I get 2% back on everything. It's better than marriage.
Bush Tax Cuts == Job Killer
June 2001: 132,047,000 employed
June 2003: 129,839,000 employed
2.21 million jobs were LOST after 2 years of Bush Tax Cuts.

I fail to see how the Plum is better than the Blue Cash.

Eligible Purchases made at U.S. supermarkets, gas stations and drugstores:
$0–$6,500 1%
$6,500.01 or more 5%

Cash Back on All Other Purchases:
$0–$6,500 0.5%
$6,500.01 or more 1.5%

(The $6,500 threshold is for combined purchases.)

Yes, you might not get 2% on EVERYTHING, but the card is free, so you save $185 on the yearly fee (after year 1).

I spend $25k a month, and it's not on gas, drugs, and groceries.

Plus, there is no limit.

That only leaves hookers.

I didn't know there was a limit on the Blue Cash. I thought it said no limit.
