Ok, one of the reasons I bought my mac pro was because it can run windows, I am going into an engineering degree and I need to run CAD software, I also play Battlefield 2... SO, new egg has the OEM versions of home for $85 and the OEM of pro for $135, is it worth it to buy the pro version?
I plan on buying a 250 or 320 gig drive and partition off 30 or 40 gigs for XP, the rest of the drive would be fat32 or OSX partitioned...
what would you do?

I'm looking into running Windows on my Mac Pro too.
Are there any links to helpful instructions out there? Which drivers will I need to install?
Thanks in advance!

Is the 64 Bit version of Windows required to take advantage of the Xeons?

I believe bootcamp will burn a CD with all the drivers you need...

There have been problems with SATA access under Windows on the Mac Pro... as in, 30 MB/sec read/writes.
There are instructions to fix that here.
