Cisco Taking on Apple TV with Secret Competitor - Gizmodo

Cisco vs. Apple is shaping up to be some great corporate entertainment. Who knows, maybe Cisco will replace Microsoft as "The Great Evil".

No surprise. Cisco has been in the router market longer than Apple. Naturally, a streaming media box is something they'd wanna offer as well.

I'd think that was more the linksys divison area.
But who knows how it'll be branded.

oh, heh:
It was evident though that the device would be released as a Linksys branded product when it ships.

Well, and that is no surprise either. All of Cisco's consumer products bear the Linksys brand. What else is new, err, I mean old.

The linksys router we bought a while ago flat out died... it annoyed me. Apparently our Dlink at home is bugging my sister. I still love my AirPort Express.
