Well, thanks to the guidance of many a mod sites aound the net... Carl Norum, Applefritter, etc. I finished my iBook color case mod, and finally had some time to snap some pictures of it. In one weekend it went from white, to clear, to black, to clear, to red...

Enjoy

I am also looking to sell my iBook (so soon? yes.. lol) to upgrade to a powerbook g4... if interested drop me a line at [email protected]

Hey.

If ya got 'em, I'd love to see the Black and clear pics! And is there a story as to why/how it finally ended up red?

Painted the inside (you have to)..

My original goal was to just have a clear iBook. Once I achieved this it bugged me how ugly the glue looked that was holding on top frame and battery casing, although the glue did dry clear it was obvious it was there and looked horrible. So then I went out to paint it black, and achieved this but the paint did not work good enough, and kept rubbing off with the glue... So... I went back to making it clear again, and then went with Carl Norums looks with Red Paint.
