i think you guys are being a little harsh to him, but then again what idiot posts a picture of a theme where you cannot see anything at all in the theme, its like me posting my icons and blurring them so that they were a perfect square i.e. pointless. It cannot be a teaser if you can't see anything it just makes us think that you are an ass.

Man, I knew there were some rude people on this board, but this, even if it is in jest, is totally uncalled for. These themers are providing a service that I surely don't have the patience for, let alone the talent. Even if I don't think I would use a theme, I can see that it took a lot of effort and I don't discourage them, I simply don't use it. This guy wants to have a little fun with his work and you rip him a new one. That's not very welcoming, and it certainly doesn't encourage him to ever want to release it. Why do you all have to be so hateful especially to someone who is providing such a great service?

I think that the theme creator knows that its in jest and he thinks its funny himself. You gotta admit, it was a little mean just posting a blurred pic like that.

While I think of it let me mention this early on to avoid disappointment:

UnityGK-1.0 is SO dark it will require an LCD display to be properly enjoyed.

mmm. bacon tastes good.

i'm not a big fan of dark themes (i feel so let down by inmotion) but it is up to the creator to decide what form a teaser ought to take. movie teasers are getting vaguer with every new release, itunes only lets you listen to 30 seconds of a song, and i'm pretty sure the sistine chapel preview was sketched out on a bar napkin..

You're right. The usual dark theme problems will still apply. It won't look good in Photoshop, text won't always be as readable as it should, it won't cure cancer and it won't give you head.

how can you tell from that if he has skill or not? I will judge when I actualy see something, it better be good as he's allready made alot of hype for himself.

I think someone wouldn't make hype if it looked bad, my guess it is amazingly good with a blend of plasatic and injected molding crowned with a light accent of black (judging by the itunes images)
