A preview of an icon set I'm making .

I previewed it on Aqua/Aero Softs yesterday so I'll include some of today's teasers here:

In drive icon previews the black one is Aquero aero and the blue is Aquero aqua and yet in the teaser image the aero variant is on the aqua desktop and the aqua variant is on the aero desktop.

Was that an error or a visual play on the tagline, "a new perspective"?

Oh, they look nice

Here is a try @ the docs folder. Credits to Timan for the extremely long jibber-jabber on the document. In case you can't read, the tittle is Document by Timan .

Either you use a great method for resizing or you made the icons in 256x256.

Folders look nice. Black ones are my favorite.

Awesome. Good that your making in 256 cause in Tiger, thats gonna be the largest size (probably because of the 30 cinema display).

.: 15" PowerBook G4 - 1.5 GHz - 512 MB RAM - ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 128 MB VRAM - 80 GB HD @ 5400 rpm :.

Or because of resolution independence... (not that it'll be on in 10.4.0)

With those PSDs can I just pop'em in PS and use IconBuilder? If so, why don't you just do that and release them as ready2use/(incomplete set) icons?

Read the board, one called aquero theme, now what does that tell you? perhaps you should read it.

Once Aeroesque is finished [by acronym16 most likely] they will contain Nelchael's upcoming icons [view at Aero-Soft] (I have permission).

As for the PSDs, I released those so that some people can play with it and make new folders [and drives] with 'em.

Ok.

Another question: Suppose I want to use them as icons.. I tried filtering with IconBuilder, and it only recognizes a sillhouette of the icon.(?) So how do I export the PSDs as usable icons? I'm more than satisfied with a few of them. (Like those hard drives )

that's cause iconbuilder is a filter, and a filter only works on one layer. save for web as a png and then filter that

Let's make that simpler.
Delete background layer (if necessary)
Cmd+Shift+E

makes a flattened layer with all transparencies.

If you had read the entire thread you would realise that pyn has realesed it open source and has decided not to actualy make the theme due to its complex, time consueming and very challengeing design. You would also have read that I am going to attmept to (and have allready started) creating the theme based on his origional design.

P.S. I will also be attempting the icons, allthough I have a feeling it may not be a complete set.
