Say you have a MacBook connected to an external display. With the lid closed will the IR remote still control Front Row on the external display? Has anyone heard if this is the case? I know the IR port will still be visible with the lid shut but will it still be operational?

Obviously, nobody knows yet, but I would think so as long as you were running in closed lid mode.

I'm sure it would be fairly easy to make it active all the time via something in settings or command line even if it wasn't. Others would probably know more about this than I would, but it seems there have been similar fixes for other things in the past...
