I have been searching for a way to turn off the small icons in the new navigation services dialogue boxes. On our server there are some large logo directories which take forever to load in any open save dialogue box in new applications like Freehand 9 or Illustrator 9. We use default folder which handles the old dialogues very nicely and is fast as long as the icon previews are turned off. Any new app which uses navigation services takes forever to open these dialogue boxes. It really slows down our productivity to wait for this to load.
