Booyah kasha. Direct injection engines are going to ***** like rabbits, according to autoblog. I was ranting about direct injection all the way back in 1999 or 2000. Now it's finally coming true.
Also, when you see CLEAR polycarbonate rims with spinners over the top of them, think of me, as they're my idea.

"[Thing] is expected in [time more than two years away]" is usually code for "[Thing] may or may not happen in [time more than two years away] — who the **** knows?"

Those ideas actually belong to Mitsubishi, this is old news. Most European manufacturers German, French, Italians have licensed this engine technology for almost a decade.

As I've been kind of depressed today, I want to thank Rob for the laugh. I needed it.

Uh, no. Orbital Engine Technologies was the company that pioneered direct injection. Other marques are trying to develop in house solutions that differ from orbital's patents just enough to not infringe upon their patents.

Contrary to what is generally written, Mercedes was not the first company to use fuel injection, or direct injection, on a production gasoline powered car. Both the 1952 Goliath GP700, and Gutbrod Superior 600, used Bosch direct fuel injection. The 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL, the first sports car to use fuel injection, used direct injection.
It was not until 1996 that gasoline direct injection [i]reappeared/i] on the market. Mitsubishi Motors was the first with a GDI engine in the Japanese market Galant/Legnum's 4G93 1.8 L straight-4, which it subsequently brought to Europe in 1997 in the Mitsubishi Carisma, although Europe's high-sulphur fuel led to emissions problems, and fuel efficiency was less than expected. It also developed the first six cylinder GDI powerplant, the 6G74 3.5 L V6, in 1997. Mitsubishi applied this technology widely, producing over one million GDI engines in four families by 2001, PSA Peugeot Citroën and Hyundai Motors both licensed Mitsubishi's GDI technology in 1999, the latter using the first GDI V8. DaimlerChrysler produced a special engine for 2000, offered only in markets with low sulphur fuel.
Although other companies have since developed gasoline direct injection engines, GDI (with a capitalised letter "I") remains a registered trademark of Mitsubishi Motors.
Direct injection isn't new. What's new is turbocharged direct injection.

Nah, you thought of clear spinners. I think metal spinners with clear rims would be the winning combo.

No. But I kinda want to be, since there are tons of Christians out there that spend lots of time and energy trying to 'debunk' scientologiests, and make them look silly. The hilarious part is yes, scientology is pretty ridiculous and far fetched.... and that's what the Christians attack them for! It's like! HELLO! CHRISTIANITY IS ALSO SUPER FAR FETCHED AND RIDICULOUS! So yeah. I might become a scientologist someday, who knows. It'd be a good story, at the very least.

Surely there are cheaper ways to make Christianity look bad.

Egg-zactly.
Christianity is just as retardedly made up. The one point that Scientology has for it is it views humans as positive things, where you need to unlock your full potential, instead of the humans are sinners and horrible creatures and we must beg for forgiveness.
