No its not spam.
Anyone have good recommendations for something that can:
Sync bank data
Allow you to set budgeting and cost categories etc
Must be mac software and well designed
Macupdate has tons, any online reviews seem to be fake.
Or possibly a web based solution cheap or free?

Not really helpful here, but the new version of Numbers allows stock quotes to be updated automatically. Very useful personal finance software for me. Unfortunately, it doesn't do dividend payout dates, so still got to use my AppleScripts for that.

Ah, have worked out nothing works in australia with Australian banks.
Will just use my evil bank (NAB) built in one, was hoping to find something external and more flexible..

Forget it on the Mac.
Quicken for Windows is the sole reason I use Parallels on my Mac.
If you want to go beyond very basic finance software, Quicken is (unfortunately) the only game in town.
