Alright well in a post about 2 weeks ago I explained that my powerbook has developed a line of intermitantly stuck (red) pixels that vertically spans the height of the LCD. I called Apple about this problem and they are shipping me a box so that I can send my machine in. I have already backed up my valuable data but I have two questions:

1) I'm running transparent dock. I'm fairly certain this isn't considered a hack, but I'm not sure. This isn't exactly the form to ask but I figured someone here would know. Should I reset my dock so it looks like the standard dock, or will they care less?

2) I currently use a notebook screensavRZ and wildeepz to protect my screan. Should I remove the wildeepz before sending the book to apple. I'm guessing that if I get a new LCD it may be a complete housing anyway, in which case the current ones would be disgarded by apple. I'm just worried that apple won't warranty my machine and blame the dammage on the wildeepz (which is quite stupid IMHO).

Anyway sorry for the long post... your thoughts?
