OK everyone, I was curious to see what you would think about this

Would the Matrix run on Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Unix, or something else?

Let's see what we all think.
iMac G4 800Mhz 256 MB, 12" iBook G4 1.0 Ghz 768 MB, 12" PowerBook G4, 1.5 Ghz, 1.25 GB RAM

Well if my powerbook ever became self aware, I guess it'd run on that. Might need to upgrade the RAM...people are such memory hogs!

I think that They would end up writing their own OS. Our OS's are all focused at interacting with a user. They already speak computer language, so they would use that for an OS, and worry about the human interface on the Matrix software side.

Why do you think there would be an OS with a user interface? My guess is that it would be a bunch of hardware with an "evolved" OS that once resembled Unix.
