Why the hell do these threads always have to become about who copied who?
Anyway, I agree that is a sweet car Rob.

Who freakin' knows. It's annoying. Nobody copied anybody, but everybody gets some ideas or inspirations from everybody else. The end.

Speaking of copying, where did I say that again?

Well cash, since you seem to be haing trouble admitting I never said copied even though if someone did that to you, you'd be having a fit, I'll just finish up.
I don't see why you have such a problem with my comparing the style to the Ferrari, after all, I'd think that was complementary.
Now obviously, it's much more likely that the design team used the Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ as you pointed out (and by much more likely I mean virtually guaranteed), but it might or might not be a coincidence that the Giulia TZ too, bears a striking resemblance to the Ferrari 250 GTO, and that the TZ was developed with Autodelta, a company led by an Ex-Ferrari engineer.
Regardless, I think the car you posted is stunning, and I said as much in my very first post, in case you missed that and think I'm hating on it.
My work day is almost over so I probably won't be on later, so you have a nice evening, sport.

Great vehicle as it may be, it's as pretty as a Christmas ham.

All I did was ask a question. Then analogika started flailing around and accusing me of starting a fight. Whatever.

You requested photographs of cars that people considered Sexier.
dakar posted one, and you said
Other than both of those cars being red, I don't see what you're getting at. Tons of cars have curvy shapes like that, but the proportions, windows, freakign EVERYTHING on the alfa is just hot.
which to me frankly doesn't seem like you're particularly interested in soliciting opinions at all, but rather merely asserting your own over others'.
I.e. a pissing match.

Dude, you must learn how to read. He posted that Ferrari not because he thinks it's sexier, but because in his previous post he was saying the Alfa looks like a Ferrari. He then went onto the internet and googled for an image of the ferrari he was thinking of, that he did NOT CONSIDER SEXIER than the alfa, but one that he considered that the styling on the Alfa was derived from.
Hence, he was posting said ferrari image to help visually support his stance that the Alfa was closely copied from, or 'inspired by' the Ferrari. He feels that the visual similarities are striking, and that clearly Alfa was looking at Ferrari when designing their car. Myself, being a car nut, sees two red sports cars. Many MANY vehicles have this bodystyle, it is not an exclusive ferrari body type, but that 'general shape' is exclusive to sports cars. The details and proportions on both cars are drastically different, so the only similarities I see are they're both painted red, and they are both sports cars. My brain has been 'trained' to recognize different aspects of a vehicle, much like your ear can probably diffrentiate different synths. If you were to post a sound clip of something from a minimoog, and I were to come in and say "Omg that's a ripoff from brand X's synthesizer', you would probably correct me, and explain that although all synthesizers sound 'synth'ish, they are not all the same, and they aren't copying each other. In terms of this thread, MANY different sports cars have that shape, and it is not exclusive to ferrari, so I felt compelled to state that I don't agree with his opinion, because other than being both red sports cars, I don't see blatent similarities.

Well, then let me be the first to say that while that Alfa you posted a pic of is quite a pretty car, the Ferrari posted by Dakar is sexier.

There is a guy who parks his Aston Martin (DB9, if I'm not mistaken) in the same public parking garage I do every day. I hate parking my VW Eos there because I'm worried someone will open their door into it. Not a chance I'd park something like that anywhere near other cars.

Answer: That particular bus was out at Burningman for many years. They remove the head and tail when they drive back to Iowa.

The Scarabs:
Some of you children need to read about Lance Reventlow.
The Jaguar C Type:
I always thought it was much prettier than the D Types.
Porsche 908/3 Bergspyder:
Built for the European Hillclimb Championship, the driver's feet sat in front of the front axle.
The Ferrari 275 GTB SWB:
This car was the end of an era. It was the last Ferrari, and almost the last sports car, you could drive to the track, race, and drive home.
Kids these days: I remember when cars had to be driven, etc. . .

Nice lines meaning a standard def Wrangler viewed on a widescreen TV stretched to fit. ie, stretched, ie, not very pretty. Fat looking.

The Alfa 8C is pretty nice. It looked a bit better even back at the concept stage.
The Muira is sweet but only ever comes out looking nice in certain photos.
I have always been a huge fan of the Morgan AeroMax and was stoked to hear they are actually producing them.
