Hey,
Im going to be making a Kurt Cobain T-Shirt and Im wondering if someone can do a little bit of editing to this image for me. The Link to the image i want edited is http://alienplayground.net/kurt.gif
what i want done to the picture is where the red line is I wanted Kurt Cobain put in it and the 1967-1994 edited out and the black and white picture changed with this picture http://www.nirvanaclub.net/gallery/v...name=kc-01.jpg

Thanks

I'd be happy to do some playing around in Photoshop for you, but I have to ask first, do you have permission from the artist to modify her work and put it on a t-shirt?

These are not hi-res images. They are going to look like butt blown up and put on a t-shirt.

Do you have access to hi-res versions of the images?

Well i think the quality is good anyway and i think the size of the image is a good size for the tshirt anyway..... what i planned on was the pic i want edited would be on the front and the other pic that has 1967-1994 on the back.

You can't print from low resolution images.

Well, you can if you insist but the quality will be terrible. What looks good on a screen will look awful printed.

You cannot re-create resolution that isn't in the picture in the first place.
Your best option is to get in touch with the artist who created the image in the first place and ask for a high resolution copy. Then you can manipulate the image to your heart's content. It'll also look good printed.

haha your printer ups the DPI but it's just kinda guessing what should be there instead of having all the orignal dots. Hence it'll still look like crap.

Judging from that image, I'm 100% sure that is the original resolution of that image, hence there is no higher res version of it. Your best bet would be to get someone to re-create the image at a higher resolution for you. Although such complex work isn't done for free.

yes it is the original. And since everything is a rip-off around here it would probably cost me an arm and a leg to get that re-done.

You lot seem to think you're experienced in printing / photoshop etc., yet nobody's asked him the crucial question that will define what resolution is required. Is he a tiny skinny bloke or a big fat bloater?

Bigger you are => bigger the t-shirt => bigger the picture => greater resolution required
