I have been wanting to do something like this but have been unable to find an older 14" iBook monitor shell to do it on. Have any other cool ideas to make your iBook stand out?

this is why I really want a an older shell that I can strip the white of of.

Here are some other cool custom paint jobs.

this one shows how to do it.

That is why I am tryiing to find a new shell so that if it doesnt work out then no biggie. But if it does it would be awsome to have my own custom iBook.

If you have a translucent shell then you should be able to mod it. However I am not familiar with the iceBooks or the snowBooks. I do not know if the plastic is itself blue or if it is painted on the inside. If it is painted then this mode would be possible. But I honestly don't know sorry.
