Quality or price?

Quality: I have bout from Macally before and the products have been very good. I have used one of those adapters and it good worked for me.

Price: I would have to say that price is pretty good because I have seen the original adapter go for much more money.

I have that same charger, and it worked well enough for my iBook G4 and PowerBook G4, then. It was definitely much cheaper than getting an Apple-branded one, not to mention was a little bit more sturdy in build (the brick-charger I had from Apple frayed, and gave way eventually).

I had the MacAlly, and it was smaller and cheaper than the Apple adapter, but it also stopped working for no apparent reason about 6 months after I got it. I wound up having to get another apple adapter because it was the only one available when I needed one immediately. I wish I'd had time to try this.

Wow, that FastMac adapter looks pretty neat. Regarding the MacAlly adapter, I've found that their customer service has been pretty helpful. They sent me a replacement connector when one of the "bits" that secures it to the brick got frayed (tripping accident).
