I have a rev. 1 15" Titanium Powerbook that I'm trying to install an Airport card in. However, I can't even get the battery out. Can someone at least tell me which way the slider switch has to go in order for the battery to come out? Does it go toward the PCMCIA slot side of the Powerbook, or does it go toward the other side of the Powerbook? Also, should the slider switch have to be ALL the way over, or just partially over? Thanks so much guys.

on my titanium, the slider is spring-loaded so that normally it sits on the side furthest away from the pcmcia slot. to take it out i slide it towards the pcmcia slot - all the way over. so my slider is never in the 'middle'...hope this helps.
