If you haven't seen The Proposition, now's the time to enjoy a real Western.

RIP

And to think he survived the Alien thing, and oppression in 1984 - and on to give oppression in V for Vendetta.
That damn cancer sure does suck, fu*k you cancer.

Take a look at his IMDB page. There are 204 acting credits there, everything comedy to drama, and he kept busy even in later years.

If you haven't seen Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, take this as an excuse to do so. That movie is full with excellent performances.
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy is excellent, yes - John has a broad scope of roles under his belt.

My perpetually clueless friend ended up having coffee with him at a Pret in London just before Christmas 2015. My friend, George, was alone at a table in a full restaurant, and a guy he assumed was some kind of vagrant asked if he could sit down. They eventually stuck up a conversation, about boxing of all things, that eventually led to asking what each other did for aliving. When he told George he was an actor, my friend asked him if he might have seen him in anything, assuming it would be community theater or something. When he heard 1984, Harry Potter, and that he recently filmed a Doctor Who special, my friend was curious but still clueless. George finally put two and two together when he heard his name.

George said he was lovely, and he was even invited to a Christmas Party at Mr. Hurt's home later that week. George declined as he had to travel for work. I think it is now one of his life's greatest regrets.

I remembered his voice is burned in my skull thanks to the trauma of having seen Watership Diwn at a young age.
