Many "top posters" racked up amazing numbers of "I really, really am not!" posts, often replete with un-filtered obscenity and physical threats which basically led to the bans. Others have demonstrated "reform" in one way or another.

The only banned person on that list is Kevin/Zimphire -- although considering how vile Simey was, I can imagine he left freely before being banned completely.

Millennium was always proper.
I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.

However, you are not allowed using a second nick for ban evasion purposes.
That's the only hard rule.

5-10 of Ca$h's old handles are not banned. Perhaps he misplaced the login info.

Yeah a lot of people have sockpuppets. That rack up posts in the thousands. I don't even know what all my accounts amount to.

Cipher had a bunch of posts swallowed in weird database debacles, but he was far and away the first of the giant macnn post counts. There was a thread to figure out the "title" once he hit 10,000.

I don't think maxelson broke 6000?

I've been here a pretty long time and recognize every name on Glenn's list, but I don't remember maxelson at all for some reason. Did he spend his time in the PL?

Max was a lounge regular, both political and non-political. Like Timo, juanvaldez and Lerkfish.. and most of those who've racked up a silly amount of posts.

This deserved an update. And no list is complete without Dakar, so I've extended it to Top-30. Colors now indicate rank changes.

Top 30 Who Have Offered The Most Wisdom

01. 31,666 besson3c (+1)
02. 31,445 turtle777 (+3)
03. 30,484 Zimphire (-2)
04. 25,590 ghporter (-1)
05. 21,436 Chuckit (-1)
06. 19,456 Spheric Harlot (+11)
07. 18,791 Cipher13 (new)
08. 18,747 Kevin (-2)
09. 18,716 olePigeon (-2)
10. 18,541 Doofy (-1)
11. 17,733 Big Mac
12. 17,614 Eug (-4)
13. 15,187 Millennium (-3)
14. 14,997 OreoCookie
15. 14,452 tooki (-3)
16. 14,234 voodoo
17. 14,158 mduell (+1)
18. 13,726 starman (-3)
19. 13,619 SimeyTheLimey (-6)
20. 13,445 Simon
21. 12,861 CharlesS (new)
22. 12,827 - - e r i k - - (-3)
23. 12,329 sek929 (new)
24. 12,305 Railroader (new)
25. 12,264 nonhuman (new)
26. 12,156 mitchell_pgh (new)
27. 11,724 The Final Dakar (new)
28. 11,309 analogika (new)
29. 11,072 imitchellg5 (new)
30. 10,657 Spliffdaddy (new)

Some of the number changes came from recovering lost UBB posts. That's how Cipher finally made the list. And Eug would clean up big time if he let me merge his old handle.

The SH account is older than analogika. Quite possibly, a bunch of posts were recovered from the old database and led to that jump.

Believe me, I'm shocked.

Sometimes it seems this is where people go when they're drunk.
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.
