I decided I'd take the time to actually post the only thing that's actually gone wrong with my powerbook since I got it. I recieved a M-Audio Sonica Theater for x-mas along with a set of logitech Z-5500 speakers. The speakers and sound card worked perfectly together over break and for a while after. I believe it was very soon after the 10.3.8 update that the Sonica stopped working correctly. I was hoping the problem would be fixed with 10.3.9 but it hasn't. I have also updated the sonica software/drivers to the newest stuff on their site as of a few days ago. Here is the exact problem I'm experiencing:

Come home from class and begin to "dock" everything to my powerbook which has been with me all day. Plug in my USB hub which has a printer, mouse, and phone charger connected to it. Plug in my LCD, power brick, etc... and all is fine. Wait a few min, plug in my Sonica and everything freezes up and I have to hard restart. Upon restarting with the unit plugged in everything works perfectly. The sound is great out of this thing through the Z-5500s when the card works! I also tried reparing parmissions a few times... ran onyx... etc... Anyone have any clue?

Thanks,
Chris

Nevermind this post... got it working by uninstalling and reinstalling the newest drivers/software. Seems to not freeze anything now...
