Hi,

I won a $15 iTunes gift card from EA and was looking in to apps for my iPod touch. I don't really know what to get, but I'd probably just get some games. I'm looking for more than that though. Any great app suggestions I shouldn't be without?

Thanks guys!

JotNot is a very interesting little app; it uses scanner technology to convert pictures into text-very handy for receipts, business cards, etc. MotionX GPS turns your phone into a full-featured handheld GPS system. Now what you spend the rest of the $15 is up to you.

I could see myself using JotNot for reciepts, but unfortunately for an iPod touch using it would be rather clunky.

Obviously the GPS wouldn't work at all either.

I did find a pretty amazing to-do app, 2Do, and it has a very well featured lite app that has gotten me hooked, so I may pick up that.

Also, it's too bad that Forums app is still buggy and unable to view MacNN. I would have definitely picked that up.

I really like wififofum, but Apple yanked those apps a couple weeks ago.

TV Forecast is great for keeping up with television airings, if you watch a lot of TV. I travel a lot so it's a good reminder for what's on while I'm stuck in hotels.

Oops, sorry. I saw "iPod touch" and read "iPhone."
