I've been having this problem oooh... since the release of 10.2 but the problem is finally on the top list of annoyances for me.
In order to mute sound totally I have to turn down volume ALL the way, otherwise the iSub still plays music.
When is apple going to fix this?!!?!?

So you're saying that unless you turn the volume to 0, you can still hear sound? That doesn't sound particularly unusual to me.

If I hit the mute button on my keyboard, the isub keeps on playing.
The only way to get the isub to stop playing, is to hold volume down until it goes to 0.
This is a bug. in 10.1 it worked just fine, though airport was a pain
