I have just seen a few Mac Mini Intels on eBay that look fairly dubious, so wondered what other peoples feelings were...
eBay Intel Mac Minis
I have emailed the seller who surprisingly responded with a serial number. Is there any wayI can confirm if the following is both legit and not stolen? Serial: YM551180TAA

There's a field on apple.com/support/ that allows you to check your serial number to see how much AppleCare is left on it. There is also an independent site that will analyze a serial number and give you information on the computer. But those sources will only tell you if the number is legitimate, not whether the item is hot.
