Hi

In theory Excel is supposed to read the format setting from the International System Preferences which I have set to Australian (day/month/year like UK). But when I try to format a date in a cell the only options are all of the form month/date/year. I could do a custom format but surely, once it has read the System Preferences, it should default date/month/year?

Any solutions ?

Thanks - Michael
