Is this a problem with recent mail update, or with the new 10.5.6 update? When quitting Mail, it just does nothing, and I need to Force Quit.
What to do?
Likely you have an outdated plugin which needs to be updated. Delete everything in your ~/Library/Mail/Plug-Ins folder and then install updated versions one-by-one.
If you're using GPGmail that's a guaranteed conflict until you update it.
