iPad, Keynote, & Accessory Keyboard Dock Issue?

I didn't really think about this until I watched the recent videos apple posted about the iPad but if Keynote only operates in landscape mode as the video shows/claims, does that mean you can't use the keyboard dock accessory since it requires the iPad to be in portrait mode?

That may be true. But I don't think the keyboard dock makes sense anyway. I'd prefer the bluetooth keyboard.

That was my initial thought too... "How stupid, a keyboard attached to a dock"; however, it really makes more sense now when I think about it because can you imagine sitting at a desk and having to look straight down for even an hour on a keynote presentation... major neck strain. We don't read papers for extended periods of time laying flat on a desk or at least ergonomically speaking you shouldn't. Also, even if using with the regular dock and a BT keyboard, you still run into the same issue. I guess if you want to use keynote, you have to make sure the iPad is in the Apple case or some other device that holds it in landscape mode while using with a keyboard or just lay it flat.

Agreed. Seems silly. Personally I wish Keynote worked in portrait, too. It would give room for presenter notes and other tools.
