If this belongs in the Applications thread I hope it's moved but I didn't want to post it in both. What's the best application for making Leopard icons. I used to use Iconographer but it doesn't make the huge ones. I'd settle for any application that can do it at this point!

I love the U.S., but we need some time apart.

Thanks! OK, I got it off my disk and it can open icons fine! I hope I can figure out how to do more than that! Preview can do that! Grrrrrrrr.

Some people prefer Fireworks, I myself just use Photoshop. I've never checked out Icns2Rsrc, I'll have to do that!

FastIcns is a new one that can convert icns to copy-and-paste/resource-based icons and do other conversions as well. I'm not sure what the system requirements are, but since it's a universal binary I'm assuming at least 10.3.9?

And, despite its age, Icns2Rsrc seems to still work properly with 512px icons on Leopard

You're a genius!!! That app is kinda obnoxious, but it's the only way yet that I've figured out how do get a 512 icon into photoshop for editing! Thanks!
