OK, this is completely confusing and absolutely frustrating, and I hope I'm just missing something rather than experiencing a bug, but...

With iTunes 7, it seems that certain songs are linked together. For example, with Blackalicious' album Blazing Arrow, the 3rd through 6th tracks are linked and 9th through 11th and so on. What does this mean? Well I can only play the 3rd or 9th track. If I try and play, say, the 4th track, which is between the 3rd and 7th, then iTunes skips to the 5th track for a second, then to the 6th, and then it finally plays the 7th song. When it skips through each song, it doesn't actually play anything.

Now, if I play the song right before a set of songs that are linked, as in the 2nd song.. it'll play through.. and then just stop. The play button will still be enabled... and the status indicator stays at 0. It just stays there.

It seems like it has something to do with the new gapless playback, but I can't pin down exactly what's happening. Essentially there are groups of songs that I can't even play. Does anyone know what's going on? Thanks for any help.
