Passenger Lenora Chavez said Wednesday some of the plumbing was at capacity and vomit bags were hanging in corridors.

"It smells like a lot of people are throwing up," she said. "I can smell that a lot."

I'm sure they'll only get a coupon for a discount towards their next Carnival cruise instead of getting a full refund. If that turns out to be the case, I'm not sure how many of those passengers would be willing to take another Carnival cruise.

Why are you sure?

Since Carnival is to blame for the problems, each passenger will get a full refund and a free ride on a future Carnival cruise, Consumer 10's Kurt Ludlow reported on Wednesday.

So... it smells like every other cruise ship. What's the problem?

Nila Clark, 58, of Los Angeles, said she was fed beet sandwiches and had to endure a rowdy crowd in the inky nighttime darkness as cruise officials gave passengers free booze.

"It was definitely no vacation," she said.
