Now I want NO stun gun discussion. This thread is for pure comical purposes. Just point and laugh.
Police use stun guns on greased, naked student - CNN.com
A high school lunch period was disrupted Monday by a greased, naked student who ran around screaming and flailing his arms until police twice used a stun gun on him, authorities said.
Taylor Killian, 18, had rubbed his body with grapeseed oil to keep from being caught, and got up after the first time he was shocked to continue running toward a group of frightened students huddled in a corner at Westerville North High School, Lt. Jeff Gaylor said.
"That prank went a little farther than he intended, I guess," Gaylor said.
Officer Doug Staysniak was monitoring the lunch period when Killian, with long hair and a full beard, ran in the room toward students, who screamed and ran away. The officer is normally assigned to a middle school and did not recognize Killian as a student, Gaylor said.

Now that is a funny prank. Pretty harmless too. Though he is probably going to be facing some jail time or quite a bit of community service.
Stun guns are dangerous.

But he would recognize any of the middle schoolers greased up and naked.

A full beard? On a middle school student? I was always jealous of those, uh, advanced kids in middle school.
Nevermind, I'm a dope. Says right there that he was 18.

So a kid goes psychotic -or pretends to go psychotic- in the middle of lunch, and expects to get off without consequences?
No sympathy here. He knew he risked this, and he deserved the risk if he was his choice to take it. That he got tasered is nothing more than getting burned by the risk.

A message seeking comment was left at Killian's home.
Yeah, the parents are going to call you back so that they can get more press for their embarrassment.

I personally keep a taser on me just in case I see a greased naked student. I mean, how else can you stop them, with the grease and all?

Nah, to avoid that they'll just trump up the charges to attempted aggravated sexual assault or something.

Well, let me put it this way: what would you do if a greased, naked person jumped out of nowhere and started running around and screaming? Odds are your response would fall into one of two categories: fight or flight, the two natural responses to this form of aggression (real or imagined). And guess what: that's not a bad thing. It's not necessarily a good thing either; it just is. But why blame the people who acted naturally, as opposed to the one who was deliberately trying to provoke this sort of response?

First of all, it happened at a high school. Second, it was a police officer that was normally assigned to the middle school. Third, the type of middle school that needs a cop assigned to it is one in which the parents are so afraid of (insert random bad thing happening to their children here) happening that they think having a police officer in the school will prevent it from happening, ever.

Indeed not. Not when the teachers have had basically full parenting responsibilities heaped on them but are hamstrung when it comes to actually keeping the kids in line (and also when it comes to teaching their subjects, but that's for another subject). Is it any wonder that the students get out of control under such situations?

The cop at the high school was not assigned to that high school, he works at a middle school and happened to be at the high school for whatever reason when the incident occurred.
Being unfamiliar with the high school and its students, he presumed that the hairy, greasy, bearded senior was a non-student.

I had a police officer assigned to my middle and high-schools. There's at least one at every single public school in the (U.S.)land near as I can tell.

You have apparently never had a kid in school. If something like that had happened at my son's school, I'd have been glad the cop zapped the prankster. It IS scary for most people to be confronted by someone behaving as if he's psychotic, and since this kid actually made efforts to keep from being grabbed, a shock was about the only way to "resolve" the situation.
Oh, and it's also very poor manners to "impersonate" someone behaving psychotically. People with mental illness certainly can't help it, and mocking them this way is just stupid and rude.

Agreed.
P.S. I watched some internet video a while back...
Some guy hid in a garbage can and waited for the garbage truck to come by, when he jumped out and scared the garbage man. That was mildly amusing.
I then later saw a copycat video of another guy hiding in a garbage can waiting for the same trick. He jumped out, scared the garbage man, who then proceeded to beat the tar out of the prankster. I couldn't help but laugh.
