I just noticed I turned so again and saw they no longer came in the colors.

IF thats that case I want my Zimphire post count added to this one and have one or the dark blue color of the back ground on this theme.

Right but wasn't this subject already raised - changing the star colors - and rejected by the admin/mods?

The way the database has corruption I would not put too much hope in getting your other account merged when the board has issues of just creating threads.

We had a long discussion about the stars. What you have was what was agreed upon at the time.

I suppose if a decent amount of people chip in they might reconsider.

How many Clinically Insane members are there. I suspect not too many that being the case I don't know if enough people will chip in.

Me, I could care less. I'm not one who really cares about post counts or the various levels. To me its the dialog/debates that matters not if I have one two or 20 multi-colored stars but hey thats just me.

Yeah, the danciness is what marks them as clinically insane. It was decided (though not altogether unanimously) that only the mods and admins should have different-coloured stars, and dancing stars was the compromise agreed on for the clinically insane.

Ok what about white ones?

Wouldn't be as garish as the multi-colored ones. Would stand out LESS even. And dare I say, makes more sense when in conjunction with the title.

When Cipher reached 10K first, a special status was created and the special stars were made.

When I reached 20k first (it's actually like 50k now I think..), I got a special status but was told by Demonhood to not even bother with my new stars till AFTER the forum upgrade (This was when it was going to happen "Anytime now" He told me to wait, I would want to because I'd have better.cooler stars) So I agreed and waited for said upgrade.

Well the forum upgrade is complete, and I am just requesting my white stars/Or whatever they choose to give. So this is what this is about.

Unless of course he was just telling me that hoping I'd forget.

Because at first it had to do with the multi-colored stars. That was my original question. Since it was answered I though instead of making a new thread/pvt messaging someone that people usually have no time to respond to, I'd just add to it here. Plus this gives the rest of the forum a chance to add in what they think the next "step" should be. Much like the one on Cipher's 10k post mark. Didn't want to be selfish an exclude the rest of the forum out.

And they will get them. Once they reach it. Just like any other person that has in this forum. When Cipher got his "clinically insane" tag and colors that didn't stop others from getting it as well. If someone reached 20k they will get "King of Nothingness" but the start will be the same because Demon was waiting on the forum upgrade to do that. Again we were told "Just wait, these are better" or some such.

I was making a case that since the multi-colored ones weren't wanted because they were too garish. the white make more sense, it's not so garish.

Now if they decided to leave the Clinically Insane stars alone, then yeah I would like to have said stars anyhow as I was already sorta promised different ones.

At the time I hit 20k points I was ASKED what title I wanted to be.

I was actually wanted it moved over to this account long ago but alas was told to wait. And wait I did.

Would it change my life drastically? Naw.

Would it put a smile on my face? Sure. So is it important? Naw. I can't think of many things in MacNN that are actually.
