A co-worker told me last week that he was offered $150 for his old ipod towards a new one.....He ended up with a 8GB iTouch.

Wanted to see if this was an isolated incident or if this is policy? I'm guessing the price depends on your trade in.... but, I'd like to see how true this is before I lug my way to a Best Buy (closest is 20 min away...) with my 5 year old ipod - 3rd gen? The one with the 4 buttons across the touch wheel.

It's not a cash buy back, but instead, you get a BBY gift card.
What, me worry?

The first original version is a collectors item no doubt. If not, it will be.
