What's the SSD performance over time like on OS X? I know they don't support TRIM yet, but do the drives still keep their good numbers after time?

Also does anyone have a link to a MacBook with SSD vs one with a 7200RPM HDD battery comparison?

Thanks.

I have a 60GB OCZ Vertex in my Macbook Pro. At the moment I also have a 500GB 5400RPM Seagate Momentus drive but previously I had a 320GB 7200RPM Hitachi Drive.

The SSD draws more power than you might expect.

Aside forma lack of TRIM, I'm not aware of any issues with SSDs that is specific to the Mac.
