Guys,

Ive noticed something strange about my LC. Im not sure if it's the preloaded OS that came on it, or the port on the MOBO. Anyways sometimes the LC boot's up and the OS is in color. other times it boots up and its B & W. I know its not the monitor because the apple in the upper left corner isent shaded when its B/W its solid black like its a software problem, any suggestions?

A third LC user in one week? Wow! It's blast from the past week. It could be your PRAM, but if you intend to zap it be advised that doing that caused me headaches on my LC. You may just want to clean install System 7.

It's your battery. It's dead. Change it to colour, shutdown and unplug it from the wall. It should now be B/W.
