1. In the Edit menu, enable Check Spelling As You Type.
2. Misspell a word that has only one possible correct spelling (try "misspell" with only one "s" for example).

So, what does it do...correct it for you??? I don't have v62 so I can't check.

Yes, and it has an amusing little way of doing it. It sort of sucks up the misspelling and spits out the correct spelling.

So there is some type of animation to it?

Yes. Nothing fancy, but kind of cute.

I don't get it. All it does is underline the word for me (yes I am using v62). Also, it does not remember to leave check spelling as you type on between windows.

Tabs are great though.

I have .62, I did all that, but it merely underlined the 'mispelled' word. No animation or similar action.

I do like the spelling though.

I tried it too, and it doesn't do anything special.

Hmm, it's still doing the animation for me.
Make sure you select the spelling auto-check before typing anything at all.
On a possibly related subject, the window resizing after you close your last tab works for some folks, but doesn't work for others (including me). So some features appear to work only on certain machines.

This post is basically a test of what you said... I only get the usual red underline. Hmm strange.

You sure it's not Spell Catcher that's doing the little animation?

No animation here in v62.

My current emotion:

Why not you grab Snapz Pro X and take a movie shot of it in action?

Damn, that must be it! I have Spell Catcher running as a background app, and totally forgot about it.
Edit: Very odd that Spell Catcher works automatically inside Safari, but not most other apps.

I wish I could figure out SOME rhyme or reason to spell catcher's behaviour. I'm not sure it works like it's supposed to.

Move along, folks, unless you want to discuss spell catcher.
