I'm just wondering if it is possible to update an image of Tiger I made for archival use. What I want to do is have an image that is as close to up to date as possible, so if need be, I could burn a 10.4.1 disk. Is this possible? I know it's not a big deal now, because Tiger has only had 1 update, but I've had to install Panther 10.3.0 on a new machine when 10.3.8 was already available. It isn't a big deal if you have a high speed internet connection, but it's a real pain on dialup. Any tips would be much appreciated.

No, not possible as far I know. You will need to deploy the archived image on a machine, update it to your liking, and then make a new image.
