Just wondering what you use to clean your powerbook,

do you use just soap and water and just wipe with with a damp papertower, or do you use rubbing alcohol, or a special product they make to clean it.

Also what do you use to clean the smudges off the screen??

thanks =]

Yeah. It just won't cut grease. But it's ideal for the display.

Just remember to never spray the computer directly, but onto a cloth.

I always thought windex was a very bad idea for the anti glare coating.

I use Iklear and it works great. When thats not available, I just use a damp cloth, and then one to dry.

Urban legend. For one thing, few LCDs (none Apple has ever sold) have anti-glare coating. They use a frosted surface, which is just the texture of the topmost layer of the panel.

I've been using them on my Macs for years and years. No damage whatsoever.

I tried that once, and it couldn't cut fingerprint grease. Wildly, insanely overpriced, too.

No, I would never use these harsh chemcials on m macs or displays.

IKlear works great. Otherwise, you can use a micro-fiber towel, one damp and one dry.
