After the update, whihc is correctly insallted, my drive has been VEERY picky about discs with prints on them, any amount of dirt, etc, to the point of simply refusing to read them. Before the update, I never had ANY issue with the drive failing to read a disc, now I've had to clean around 5 just to gfet them to read (and barely read for 2 dvds...)
Any thoughts, and is there a way to uninstall the update?

Yes, this happened to me on my MacBook as well. CDs are ok, most DVD movies don't mount, though "Logan's Run" has no printing on top and it did run. No answers but resetting PRAM and PMU did nothing.

That been true for some time now, my Macbook and my friends Macbook Pro have the same problem. Apparently the slot loading drives are super sensitive.
