I want anyone's experience/advice concerning Firewire CD-RW with Pismo PowerBooks. I have a Pismo 500, and it's so much faster than my Mac desktop, that I never use it anymore. However, I have no info concerning it's CD burning capabilities.

I've heard bad experiences with Sony brand CD-RW, and good comments with LaCie, as well as Que (although Direct CD is "coming soon for Mac" for Que, not available yet - when??????)

Any problems with using my Pismo for burning CD's? Any disadvantage with Firewire? (Next month comes the new Firewire/SCSI adaptor for SCSI peripherals - I've heard that the USB/SCSI adaptors are too slow for more than 4x CD burns.)

TIA!
