Hi all,

Is there a software and/or hardware combination that would enable me to use my powerbook as a universal/learning/programmable/whatever remote control?

I did some googling and searching but could only find something about using an iPod, and some links to some very nifty logitech remotes, but that wasn't what i was after. Sorry if this is a commonly asked question. =/

I can't say for sure whether anything exists, but I can tell you that the PB alone can't do it. You'd need some sort of USB adapter or something, because the PB doesn't have an IR transmitter, which would be required to control most modern home entertainment equipment.
Have:
30GB 5G iPod
Want:
15" 2.16GHz MBP - 20" Cinema Display
