I have the CPU setting at "reduced" under Energy Saver in system preferences, but the sysctl command always shows the cpu at 1.25 ghz when on battery power only. i'm sure this is eating into my battery power. is there anything i can do to force the machine to reduce the CPU power while on battery power? thanks.
