I remember someone having an amazing bonsai tree icon for their hd before in a snap, it has been a long time however, anyone remember this icon, or from what collection it came? Any direction would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think you might mean an icon from the IconFactory's Pixel Feng Shui

Same here... though that set actually wasn't made by the Iconfactory. It was entered into their Pixelpalooza contest and won the People's Choice award (though somehow it didn't win first place, which surprised me). The set was actually designed by Gary Gehiere.

Yes, sorry I did notice that after posting. Apple's download page just credits "The Iconfactory" but actually you are quite right it was Gary Gehiere's 2002 Pixelpalooza people's choice winner.
