Ok, trying to install gpc...

haveing a bit of trouble

I have the developer tools all installed already, but I need pascal... so ya

anyways, it is complaining about not knowing what the host is when I run /Users/userName/gcc-2.95.2/configure --enable-languages=pascal

(I unpacked gcc-2.95.2 to my home directory)

anyways, would the host be ppc-apple (--host=ppc-apple)? I tried that, and the configure script would run... but it would get an error at the end...

Configuration powerpc-apple-macos not supported
Configure in /Users/timothyd/gpc-build/gcc failed, exiting.

So what? I can't install gpc or what?

   Try configuring with the option:

--host=powerpc-apple-darwin

If that doesn't work, copy the follow file into the root of the gpc source and configure with the same option:

/usr/share/automake-1.6/config.guess

What error messages do you get?
