My graphite 600MHz G3 iMac is dead. I'm pretty sure the analog board is gone. It's going to go to the recycler, but before it does I am willing to do my best to remove any part/board/bracket/etc. that anyone here might want.

Just let me know if you're interested in anything. I'll do my best to help out.

The parts are free. I'll just ask you to pay for shipping.

The optical is (unfortunately) dead. I have seen the CD-RW drives on eBay for $30.

I wasn't very clear in my first post. I'm keeping the airport card, the RAM, and the hard drive because those are the only parts that have value to me. The rest is going to be recycled.

That said, the hard drive is a Seagate 80GB Barracuda drive. I'd send it to you for $40.

Cover the shipping and it's yours--how about $10 for FedEx shipping or $5 for US Mail?

I could use the video board (the circular thing on the back of the CRT) and also the cables that are attached to it that connect to the motherboard. I will message you shortly.

I took the case apart for an earlier poster, but now he doesn't want them. Are they of use to anyone else?

I'll take the motherboard, depending on whether or not I get a G3 iMac. Could you hold it for me since rsandborn1 doesn't seem to want it? I would also consider the case.

rsandborn1 may still want the motherboard. If not, I'll hold it for you along with the case parts.

Here are the parts that are left:

The motherboard (may be spoken for)
Two speakers
80GB Barracuda hard drive (will sell for $30, shipped)
The down converter

With the exception of the hard drive, all parts are yours for the cost of shipping.

I live close to Park Meadows mall on the south side of Denver. rsandborn1 does want the case. I'm making arrangements to send it to him today. But you can have the case and/or the down converter (which plugs into the motherboard) if you want them.

Everyone who is getting parts should receive them shortly. I put them all in the mail yesterday and today.

I still have the case and the speakers.

I was hoping to get the speakers. I must be too late. My iMac G3 speakers are poked. Heh, have holes. It was auctioned to me from a local school and its fully loaded. The students need to keep thier pencils where they belong, on paper, not poking speakers.

Hi Chris,

Do you still have those speakers? I have an imac G3 600 CDRW graphite and its speakers have gone...

If you still have them, I'm interested. I can transfer the shipping costs to you by Paypal.

Thank you!

Sergio
