Hello!

I've ordered my mini on 01/25/2005 and my ship date is set for �on or before� 02/24/2005. This is a BTO from www.apple.ca (i'm in Montreal, Quebec).

I just hope that it wont be pushed back like many others here. Funny thing is... they pushed back twice the delevery date for the keyboard and mouse!!! It went from 02/02/2005 to 02/09/2005 and now 02/14/2005. Not that I care because I can't do anything good with only a keyboard and mouse!!!

Ordered on 23/1/05, shipping date was set on or before 1/3/05, walked into the bestbuy in Ottawa last week and they had 5 of them in stock. Walked out with a brand new mac mini and canceled my order with apple.

Oh well, so the keyboard and mouse got one more delay, now set for 02/17/2005.

Now I realy have the feeling that Apple don't want to ship items separatly as they become available. Even if I selected that option when I bought it.

I ordered a cinema display at the same time as the Mini, and that shipped separately (and immediately).

Yep, they did it again....

Keyboard and mouse got one more delay, now set for 02/23/2005.

Since they should ship the mini on 02/24/2005, I think they are just waiting to ship everthing in the same box. But I'm starting to fear that on 02/25/2005 i'll have an e-mail saying that everything is delayed....

So Apple can't build the mini as fast as they are selling it. Steve Jobs must be realy happy!

I ordered a Mini with an extra 256 of RAM on January 26th, along with a monitor, speakers and a printer for my mom's 80th, her 6100/66 still runs like a jewel, only it's too slow for the internet. Her monitor, speakers and printer arrived a week after ordering. The Mac Mini was scheduled to ship the 23rd of February and it shipped early on the 18th, I'm expecting it by week's end. The keyboard was delayed as well, from the 5th of February, three times to the 25 of February, but, to my great suprise it shipped on the 20th and it too should behere by week's end, in fact. The shipment number seems to indicate it's coming with the Mac Mini. So we'll be all set for her birthday on March 4th.

G5 2.5gHz / 2G RAM

I ordered my fist 1.25 GHz Mini with extra 256MB ram on Jan 12 and received it on Feb 1.

I then ordered another 1.25 GHz Mini on February 2 (with extra 256MB ram) and estimated ship date is March 9 (ouch!).

Glad to see it's doing well. Too bad I have to wait so long.

HEY! Apple shipped the Keyboard/Mouse on 02/20/2005!! So it should be here real soon (paid for 2 day shipping).

Now i'm waying for the best part... The mini.

One problem... I can't track my package with Purolator. When I enter my PIN#, it tells me : Please call 1 888 SHIP-123 or 1-888-744-7123 for information on this shipment.

So no tracking from Purolator?? That sucks.

I ran into this problem with Purolator. You should have got two numbers in your shipment confirmation - the PIN and another one. Try both. One of them worked for me.

Still no news on mine. Should ship Thursday. Fingers crossed.

Tracking a package with Purolator does not allways work... Sometime you get the information, other time it tells you to call.... Wow!

Anyway, the box left Toronto early this morning (02/23/2005) so I should get it today... BUT, i'm working so i'll probably only get a visit card!

Still no news for the mini....

That's you and me both holding our breath and crossing our fingers and hoping for that 'shipped' e-mail tomorrow. I'm in trouble if it gets too delayed as I'm going away on holiday next week and Purolator send unclaimed stuff back after five days (which is a joke).

I'm the proud owner of a wired Apple Keyboard and mouse.

And i'm crossing my fingers for a �SHIPPED� e-mail from apple tomorow or friday. But i'm not holding my breath... I want to live! I've had many �delay� with the keyboard....

With FedEx, I should be getting my mini on 02/25/2005, tomorrow!!! I'm taking a day off!

I hope you guys get your mini real soon!

EDIT : Well, nothing new on the FedEx site, I don't know where the mini is... But they �estimate� that I should get it on 02/25/2005 at 12:00. I too hate to wait for my stuff....

EDIT2 : Oh well, FedEx seem to be as slow as Purolator... My estimate is now set to monday 02/28/2005. Seems like i'm going to work friday after all. MINTCAKE, I feel your pain! We are in the same boat!

Got the e-mail at 1.32am on the promised ship date. Nice! Also with Fedex.

edit - update - well Jeez I hope the Fedex tracking site isn't that accurate because according to it my $30 extra for overnight shipping Mini is still sitting exactly where it was 36 hours ago!

I'd forgotten just how much I hate waiting for stuff to be delivered...

edit2 - so finally, at 10pm, they pick it up. And now they've changed the delivery date to Monday, when I've taken the day off tomorrow (Friday). Gah! Typical.

edit - final update - after all that, it arrived today after all.

Beautiful. Took a couple of hours to transfer all the stuff from my powerbook by firewire, now I'm posting from it! Photo of my setup to follow on the pics thread. (My one comment so far: it's a lot louder than I had expected - steady background hum which ratchets up to Ariane 5 proportions when Photoshop is launched. Other than that, lovely!)

I hope my luck changes, I ordered my Mini on 01/28/05, and I got an on or before ship date of 02/28/05, but now they have bumped it back to 03/22/05!! ARGGHH

btw, do you ppl know about the on-line coupons Apple gives out from time to time? if you register for purchasing on-line, add a few items and save the cart(s), you may get $30 off $299, $40 off $399, or $50 off $499 coupons.

i myself got a $30 and a $40 off coupon, but i managed to get a $50 off coupon from a user on another forum and applied that, along with a educational discount on my Mac Mini order, and saved $80 which ended up offseting the 15% tax on the purchase.

My Mac has shipped! They had changed the ship date from 02/28/05 to 03/28/05, but apparently my credit card company wasnt to willing to do a big purchase without authorization from me, so once I got that figured out it shipped within a day or so. Now I just have to wait patiently for it to arrive.

woohoo ... just got an email saying they shipped my MINI!!! that's 2 weeks early than the original estimate they gave! says it'll take up to about 12 days so it should arrive around the original shipping date.

i ordered on march 2nd and the on or before date is 30th

its the 22nd and hasnt shipped yet. im anticipating in the next few days due to other people's posted dates. i cant wait ive been without a burner for so long, and a dvd burner yet.. cant wait.
