I recently had a hard drive failure and Apple replaced my hard drive free of charge and reinstalled OSX. however, the only quirk I have noticed since the reinstall is that Photo Booth doesn't launch. In fact, it does even have its usual icon; its icon is the generic Application icon. When I try to launch it, the icon bounces in the dock and then goes away, with no error message.
