I want a new iBook loaded with as much RAM as I can afford/get. I would say a Powerbook but an iBook is something I can actually shoot for.

I'm happier with little possessions (a computer, nice furniture and nice medium sized house) and lots of money for spending and going out .

Maybe I'll get some music or something.
In vino veritas.

some more parts for my custom built Home theater subwoofer, I got the power amp last friday, they were running a special 15 bucks of, so it was basically free shipping.

I still need 2 4" tapered ports 20 bucks each, as well as some (5 lb) Acustastuf. thats another 40 so if I got that I would be happy.

I'm waiting for the next gen of Power Macs, so I'm hoping for a Shuttle PC. I program on PC's, and I'm tired of this huge Dell beast hogging all my space. A Shuttle PC and LCD monitor would be cool.

I wouldn't mind a DV cam. My VHS camcorder is from the Soviet days (though the CIA gave it to me way back when), and Al Jazeera says I need to get into the modern era. Anyone want to donate a G4 powerbook for a good cause? Mobile video editing would be super.

I come back to you now, at the turn of the tide.

Who assumed anything about "everyone celebrating Christmas"?

The starter of this thread merely asked what people want for Christmas, not "what do you want for Christmas, the ONLY religious holiday"

If you don't celebrate it ... then you probably don't want anything for Christmas... don't read the thread.

If you celebrate a different holiday that involves gifts (or getting things), then start a new thread.

How much did the s330 run you? and why do you like it better? I have to ask santa mom about this soon. I'm assuming it has more megapixels? I could just look it up, but I'd rather go take a nap.

S330 mysimon 330
S230 mysimon 230

I paid about 350 last april, but prices are around 270 now, see link, plus def get a 64 or up (i splurged on a 256 because i needed the storage for a trip I was taking) plus meadia is really cheap i only paid 100 buck for 256 and now its around 60 or even less. Get the high speed media, like Kingston, or other name brands because it saves on your battery life.

The 230 is basicly a little more (price) then the S330, its a 3.2 MP where the S330 is 2.1 but the 330 has better zoom, its 3X where the 230 is 2X so I can zoom in and get a closer shot, but you can zoom in and then crop the pic to due to the higher MP.

The 230 is in the same case as the 200 so if you want the smallest the get the 230 but if you have held the 330 i find that its plenty small for my needs. I can compare it to smaller in length (3.750 and width (2.5), and about 1.25 inches thick.

If size is your main concern the i world actually get that minolta its much smaller (With dimensions of 3.3" (W) x 2.8" (H) x 0.8" (D) and weighing only 4.8 ounces) its a 2 mp with 3X zoom and its small, the only draw back i see is that it uses SD media I think it isn't as popular and costs a little more then CF

Nothing for my computer I'm all set for now.

If PS2 goes down to $150 by then I will ask for that. If not maybe a stack of 100 black CDs (I am almost out) and a few DVDs. Namely, Super Troopers, The Shining, Attack of the Clones, Terminator 2, and Akira.

Also a few homecooked meals and some rousing get togethers with the whole fam will top the season off nicely. I'm not used to getting a bunch of presents so I won't be dissapointed if all i get is a couple DVDs and some other small stuff.

Not listed in order of importance:

Games for my new dual 1.25 Ghz G4
Clothes
Quality time with my family, watching my daughter open her gifts

Since work and family make the bulk of our time, I'd also like a night alone with my wife, dinner, some nice wine, a fire going in the fireplace, ending the evening perhaps with clothes on the floor. (not Christmas Eve or Christmas day, mind you. That's a family day. )

See there, I'm not so demanding.

Actually... these are the athiests talking.....

Christsmas has nothing to do with presents.

These are American Athiests.

Associating presents and tangible goods with the holiday season is hipocracy. It goes against Christianity.

I'd love to get my health back.
Since that isn't going to happen, a bigger desk and a college course in airbrushing will suit me fine.

I hope everyone gets what they want.
