If you google your name, what is the first picture that is shown. If it's you - wow! I get this charming man. He's so not me.

I get an article from a 2006 Time magazine about a rich 16 year-old who feels the pressure of being 16.

How far down on Google do you have to go to find a page about yourself (using your name as the keywords)? I've got the fourth hit.

That's why he's in the back, as punishment for being too tall. The bastard, how dare he.

Not me.

(Un?)fortunately, my picture didn't pop up on the first several pages of the Google image search.

First 9 are me. I am such a ham.
The rest are weird unrelated hits with peices of my name.

My website is first in the Google Web search and a photo of myself is first and second (same photo, same site though) in Google Images. Seventh and eighth in Google Imags are two photos of mine that are hosted on my domain.

Why ?

Mine does neither, and I'm glad. It's NOT an achievement, it's very easy to do.

What's funny is that googling my name will bring up a pic of my sister and a pic of a friend of mine. LOL.

Yeah, I don't get anything either (plus there was an astronaut with my name, so he gets all the attention). I'm all private like that though. Private and boring. That's me.

I don't know. It's weird, especially considering that my name is Plumpers Paradise.

I don't see the point of being "known" on the internet like that.

At some point, we probably won't be able to avoid it, but till then, I'd rather stay faceless...

It's not a personal decision. Depends on the line of work I suppose, for I've had no say in my real name being posted.

The second result in the google image search is this chick (who shares my name) getting ****** by a black dude with a fake 18 inch apparatus.

I got about 30 pages in and gave up. I have a VERY common American name. More common that "Jim Smith".

Even a search for my full name brings up nothing by me as far as I can tell.

Page one, hit one (and all the others -- though that one photo from The Dominion wasn't taken by me).

The real issue in this thread involves digging up the before/after blog pictures of when Maury started on the Rogaine....

Image search:

I get an entire page full of people that are not me, yet I know every single one of them. (There’s also a UFO and a Jackass poster, but I’m not sure where they come from)

Regular search:

Every hit on the first page is either my own site, files on my own site, profiles of mine on Internet forums, pictures I’ve taken, or something else that definitely refers to me. I have to go to the last hit on page two to find a page that’s not about me or my grandfather.

I guess I’m special that way.

(Or I have a very uncommon name)
