Donna Summer died this morning - she was the queen of disco for those who remember the era.
(She fought cancer for some time)
RIP baby

Rest peacefully Donna. What an era it must have been. You left us in an era of digital junkies... I'm not sure you should be sad to leave.

All the best Donna, to your family too.

Donna was the pioneer, the person who changed what had been simply generic dance beat music into something that was listenable as well. In the immense forest of disco, Donna made it Disco. I'm sad.

Sorry, olePigeon, but you'll have to get in line. I have a couple of personal grudges against cancer to deal with, then there's Donna, and then you get your turn.

Picture that scene from "Airplane" when everyone lined up to slap the hysterical passenger...you can be the guy with the tire iron.

Thanks, Glenn, for injecting some (albeit dark) hilarity. I love that movie.

**** cancer.
