Sunday night, the adventure that is Season 3 begins. What does the future hold?

I thought about you in physics class. You were a daydreamer. A sassmouth! And, not infrequently, a bit of a gigglepuss! Somehow I doubt twenty years of amphetamines and failure have done anything to improve that.

Can't wait for this, but may have to wait until Monday to watch it.

Somehow, Seasons 1 and 2 keep magically downloading onto a computer that I might or might not have access to. I'm not sure how that's happening, but I'm sure I'll view them and see what all the fuss is about once this friend of mine whose computer I might or might not have access to tells me that they're done.

Lovely! This means there will be some TV this summer!?
I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.

Perhaps you've heard of this thing. It's called the internet. It's sort of a big deal.

Well, is there a way to view the episodes (for free) legally, or will I have to resort to downloading them, even though my girlfriend banned me from any more illegal downloading?

That was the first episode I saw and I laughed uncontrollably at that moment.

Agreed that Brock killing two pirates with his ass is just about the most brutal thing ever.

Only two more days before my friend's legal download completes.

And it's definitely okay, because it's a friend...not me...a friend. And he'll pay for the DVDs as well.

So do you think we'll get the answer to the big Dr. Girlfriend cliffhanger in the first episode os season 3?

And what do you think it is?

Is she a man? His long lost sister? Pregnant with Dr. Ventures child? In love with Dr. Venture?

My sig is 1 pixel too big.

Paranoid. I got in trouble with my university twice for downloading torrents of episodes of The Office and Heroes. The first time was a warning, the second time was behavioral probation and loss of internet access. The third time is legal action, most likely from both the University and the copyright owner.

So I'm not allowed to download stuff.

I have a feeling that opening was for this episode only, but yeah, it was sweet.

Probably my favorite part of the episode was the ending where Phantom Limb finally tracks down Manotaur Or when The Sovereign pops up and Monarch whispers "It's David Bowie!"

All in all it was entertaining and it gave some sweet-ass backstory. Of course this only leaves me thirsting for more....

Yeah, I thought it was a good episode overall... but it was kind of hard to follow. It had a very bizarre plot structure and almost no action.

Still, the backstory was great.

So, was Dr. Girlfriends big reveal that she was ordered by the Guild to have Monarch stop arching Venture? That seems a little anti-climatic. They never 100% spelled it out, but I'm guessing that is what it was.

As for the opening, I'm sure it was just for this episode. They did the same last season, where they had Rusty and Jonas Jr. in the opening rather then the kids.

It was right back to normal after the one episode.

My sig is 1 pixel too big.

I didn't have much trouble following it, particularly after the re-view at 3.00am.

Just as long as they don't abuse showing backstory too often, I'll be happy.

I thought the episode was classic Venture Brothers. Disjointed, pops up in the middle of a plot line, etc.

Anyone notice the names? Maybe they were mentioned in the past, but I don't remember.

Yeah, the episode was ok. I guess they are just setting up the rest of the season. Of course the Season 1 ending / season 2 opener had me spoilt. That really was some legendary TV.

Decent episode last night, though I'm sure not one to be remembered among the best by season's end. It was one of those weird ones where it seems to get more frantic and then ends with a whimper rather than a bang.
